As well as the more formal proceedings they took the opportunity to play in a two person ambrose and enjoyed some mixed triples bowls.
Many delegates visited the National Motor Racing Museum, the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum and Jenolan Caves.
There were also luncheons, dinners and dances and some fascinating key note speakers from New Zealand, the United States and Australia.
These guest speakers provided an overview on the majority of Rotary projects around the world.
Topics included feeding the hungry, fighting Aids, literacy and food, water and shelter.
There were also a number of presentations by Rotary volunteers.
The conference was held at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre.
A special Mayoral Reception was held on Friday afternoon to welcome delegates to the city.
Mayor Paul Toole spoke of the Bathurst region's long and proud connection with the Rotary International movement.
"Our region is fortunate to have an enthusiastic group of Rotarians committed to their motto of Service Above Self and I would like to acknowledge their tremendous hard work and dedication," Cr Toole said.
District Governor Irene Jones said the annual conference was an excellent opportunity for Rotarians across the district to learn more about Rotary's programs, celebrate the achievements of the clubs and district and be inspired about some of the things that can be achieved in the name of Rotary.
