Citigate Mount Panorama is set to become the hot new location for dogs on vacation.

Tapping into a growing market, the hotel is now offering several luxurious dog friendly rooms for pooches and their humans.

The rooms will be set up with a comfy basket and blanket.

Mars Petcare have also come on board with a basket of delicious doggy treats.

General Manager Paul Rogers said this is a new venture for Citigate in Bathurst although it has worked very well in sister hotels in other locations.

"We think people will embrace the opportunity to bring their dogs with them on holidays," he said.

"Just don't tell the cat."
