AS they enjoyed a morning of massage and manicures yesterday, survivors of Victoria's Black Saturday bushfires were able to forget ? if only for a while ? the trauma of the past 14 months.

A day of pampering was ahead of the ladies, thanks to the generosity of local business houses, while the men enjoyed a tour of Mount Panorama, followed by a visit to the National Motor Racing Museum.
Annie Kesterton from Jindivick, where 18 houses were lost in the fires, described the hospitality shown to the visitors as "awesome".
"After dinner last night we went for a drive around Mount Panorama in the dark," she said.
Annie and her husband are among the guests staying at Bishops Court, which she said was beautiful. “Our bedroom is almost the size of an entire building.”
Heather Luke, who yesterday joined Annie for a pampering session at Macquarie Day Spa, said her husband was really excited to be going to Mount Panorama.
“All the blokes are really looking forward to seeing the track and the museum,” she said.
After a day of relaxation, the 10 couples enjoyed a stunning dinner at Bishop’s Court.
Today a private bus will courier guests to Oberon to visit one of Australia’s premier gardens, Mayfield, followed by morning tea.
Mayfield is one of the world’s largest privately owned cool climate gardens.
Following this the bus will continue onto the historic village of Rockley to view its stunning churches and a private viewing with local artist Tim Miller. Later in the evening guests will enjoy a private wine experience and gourmet barbecue at Vale Creek Wines.
