HARRIS Farm Markets, Australia’s largest independent fresh food group, will open its doors in Bathurst today at 7am.
After several delays the store was yesterday undergoing its final fit out, as Bathurst staff, joined by other’s Harris Farm staff who travelled to the city for the opening, put the final touches on the store.
Luke Harris, head of operations, said the store will deliver the freshest fruit and veg in season at its famous low prices – a quality that has ensured its success since 1971.
Giving the store his seal of approval, Luke said the Bathurst community would love what they see when the shop opens this morning.
Harris Farm Markets CEO and Head Fruit and Veg Buyer David Harris said Harris Farms are thrilled to be opening up a second store in the central west region.
“Bathurst is a thriving community and we feel our offering will be very suited to the vibrant local area,” he said.
Store manager Paul Nairne agreed.
“I am really excited to open the Bathurst store in this amazing community,” he said.
“After much anticipation of our opening, we are now ready to serve the locals the freshest fruit and veg at the best prices around.”
