Work starts on Bathurst's $7.5m Flannery Centre

CONSTRUCTION of a new $7.5 million world-class carbon efficiency skills centre has begun with a low key ceremony held at the three hectare site on Panorama Avenue.

Central West Group Apprentices and Skillset CEO Ben Bardon and chairman Scott Ferguson turned the first sod this morning with the bigger machines arriving next Monday.

The centre will be a place where individuals and organisations can undertake sustainable technologies training in a range of

qualifications.
