17 Sep 09 | FORMER Bathurst Panther Trent Rose has played an integral role in help Wentworthville win their first pemiership in 10 years, the Magpies posting a 24-20 win over Cabramatta in the Bundaberg Red Cup recently. The talented player, who gained Group 10 junior representation for his efforts with the Panthers, only played 30 minutes in the grand final as a retiring player for the club filled Rose’s regular position in his final game.
St Pat's win through to division one decider

Captain-coach Dave Elvy, Stan Latu, Grant Walsh, Wes Coe and Nathan Rollinson are all hanging up their boots, while Anthony McDonough will leave the club. While Elvy said they were disappointed, he was philosophical about the loss.

04 Sep 09 | THE CSU Mungoes will not be forced out of their long-term home base at Diggings Oval in 2010 – at least not yet anyway according to a spokesperson from Charles Sturt University students services. A move had been foreshadowed that would see the powerful CSU Rugby Club relocated from their existing home at University Oval down to Diggings Oval next season to accommodate planned developments to University Oval.
