Both stars made the perfect case for their selection in the Warriors 115-100 win over Charlotte Bobcats at Oracle Arena on Thursday night.

Lee had his third career triple-double with 23 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists while Curry became the first player in franchise history to shoot eight or more three-pointers shooting 8-13 from downtown in his 27 points.

Jackson said both stars should be on the Western Conference roster when coaches vote on the bench players.

All-star game starters are voted for by fans.

"This team is not about chasing individual accolades but that being said it's my job as coach to make the case for these two players to be recognised and every time I've got a microphone in front of me that is what I'm going to don" Jackson said.

"Bottom line, (David Lee) he's not doing anything different that he hasn't done in the past other than winning. He's very deserving.

"In my opinion, I have two guys that should be playing in the all-star game in Stephen Curry and David Lee. I'm very proud of the way those guys have lead this basketball team."
