The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted that heavy rain and thunderstorms, which may lead to flash flooding, will move slowly across the southern and central parts of New South Wales this morning.

Parts of the Central West Slops & Plains are expected to be hit, with the storms expected to extend to the Central Tablelands after midday.
The heavy rain is predicted to last throughout the night and continue until Friday morning, with clearing shower expected for the rest of the day.
The weekend will be mostly sunny across the region, with temperatures expected to reach a top of 23 degrees in Bathurst, 20 in Orange and 26 in Dubbo.
While in Cowra, Parkes and Forbes the temperature is expected to hit as high at 28 degrees on Sunday.
