Eleven Mile Drive remains open and on Hereford Street, one lane is still operating under traffic control.
Council and the SES are urging motorists to show caution, as there is still water over the roads.
The SES have said there is currently no reason for people to fear they will be trapped on the ‘other’ side.
While all roads are accessible, motorist may experience some delays this afternoon.School buses will run as per usual.
1.05pm: Two lanes of the Great Western Highway remain closed due to flooding. The contra-flow remains in place.

12.15pm: The rain gauge at the Bathurst Airport recorded 74.4 millimetres between 9am on Thursday (February 28) and 9am on Friday (March 1).
The Bathurst Agricultural Station has recorded 92 millimetres in that same time.

11.40am: For anyone travelling to and from Oberon today Abercrombie Road has been closed due to flooding at Abercrombie River.
11.15am: All roads around Bathurst remain open following heavy rain this morning.
Council staff are urging people to be cautious when driving in the region today, as water is covering parts of the road in many areas, including the Great Western Highway, Eleven Mile Drive and Hereford Street.
Traffic controls are in place.
Council said they are not anticipating any road closures at this stage as the rain is expected to ease this afternoon.
Pumps are operating on the Great Western Highway for Raglan Creek.
9:50am: Bathurst Police have confirmed that all roads remain open.
With the west bound lanes on the Great Western Highway closed at Kelso, traffic is moving slowly along the east bound carriage way.
Traffic is also moving slowly along Hereford Street, with one lane operating under traffic control.
9:25 am: West bound lanes on the Great Western Highway are closed at Kelso, due to flooding. However a contra flow is in place on the east bound carriageway.
SES Central West region controller Craig Ronan said that if the heavy rain continues this morning, the highway may have to be closed.
“If the rain continues to pour down, it is likely that the Great Western Highway could close, due to the flooding of the Raglan creek.”
“However the rain is meant to ease off today, so hopefully we will only have some localised flooding around the highway."
Mr Ronan said Hereford street was also experiencing flooding, but was still open as of this morning.
Overnight the SES received 15 calls for assistance from across the Bathurst region, for leaking roofs, fallen trees and flash flooding.
Mr Ronan said people need to show caution, especially when driving in the current weather condition.
“People need to make sure they do not enter flood waters and be patient and cautious on the roads as there is going to be a lot of traffic today.”

7am: A SEVERE weather warning remains in place across the Bathurst region this morning after more than 80mm of rain fell overnight.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued the warning at 4.30am as a rain band with embedded thunderstorms continued to move slowly across central parts of NSW.
"Locally heavy rain which may lead to flash flooding is forecast for the Central West Slopes and Plains, North West Slopes & Plains, and Central Tablelands forecast districts and parts of the Hunter, Mid North Coast and Northern Tablelands forecast districts," the warning said.
"Rainfall totals since 9am Thursday include Orange 96mm, Bathurst 87mm, Robertson 80mm, Oberon 75mm, Forbes 60mm, and Cobar Airport 54mm."
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Never drive drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* If you they trapped by flash flooding, seek refuge in the highest available place and ring 000 if you need rescue.
