The incident occurred about 10.30am in Esrom Street.
Residents of the home had erected a billboard supporting Labor's candidate for Calare, Jess Jennings, in today's poll.
Dr Jennings said a teenage girl was sitting in the lounge room of the home at the time of the incident, not far from the smashed window.
He said the incident has been reported to Bathurst police.
Meanwhile, thousands of voters have enjoyed warm conditions across the Bathurst region for today['s election.
Volunteers at polling stations across the region have reported generally good spirits among the voters.
