FIREFIGHTERS have been called to an overnight blaze at St Barnabas' Church in Rocket Street, Bathurst.
Fire and Rescue NSW tweeted at 2.19am on Sunday that three crews had responded to a fire at the church and arrived to find the building had partially collapsed.
A second tweet at 3.02am said extra crews had been called to the scene and that church buildings were well alight.
Firefighters were working at that stage to stop the fire spreading to neighbouring properties.
