- Meadow Flat Market Day: with over 30 stalls this fabulous day is not to be missed. Kicking off at 9.30 - 3pm come on out to have the kids faces painted, great a sizzling sausage from their barbecue. Shop from the many stalls including, black spinning wool, handicrafts, plants, beautiful jewellery and much more. Plenty of parking and free admission. All funds raised on the day will go to the new amenities block being build in the recreations grounds. For more information or wet weather advise call Bruce or Maureen on 6359 5276
- Opera Works presents, Another Irish Concert: Passionate, Joyful, Sacred, Revolutionary, Sentimental and Humorous and a Great Irish Sing-along featuring William Amer as the Irish tenor and recorded accompaniments provided by Glenn Amer, 2:00pm
- Scots Highland Gathering, 10-4pm. Hear the pipes and drums of the competing bands, watch the highland dancers, the equestrian competition or stroll through the stalls. There will be great food, from home made cakes and Devonshire Teas to barbecue, sweets and coffee. As well as books, crafts and clothes. All while the wee-ones enjoy the rides and games.
- Melanoma March, marching for a cure. Join us at Bicentcennial Park, Bathurst at 9am.
- Harvest Festival at Fitzgerald's Valley 2pm: Service and gathering with auction to follow. Lock it in your diary. Auction of local farm produce, jams, plants, preserves. Sit on the lawn and soak up the magic view. This event is a fundraiser so the beautiful Fitzgerald Valley church doesn't fall down, keeping it and the grounds in good nick. A scrumptious free afternoon tea will be provided, featuring the popular sponges to eat, yum! The Anglican Church of St Stephen's, Fitzgerald's Valley, about 25 kilometers south of Bathurst on the Blayney Road, is part of the Cathedral parish and each year the locals welcome a large number of visitors to Harvest Festival service. All welcome.
- Fundraiser for Saxon Evans Golf Day at Bathurst Golf Club. Tee off will be at 12pm and run until 1:30pm $30 for 18 holes. All enquiries please call the Pro-Shop on 6331 1379
- My Block - A walk and talk around a Bathurst Block, 10am. Unravel the history of your front yard as we explore Block 79, encompassing William, Rocket, George and Brilliant Streets. Learn about Bathurst’s architecture and hear stories of the characters and residents who were associated with this block. Bring a hat and drink and wear walking shoes. - Spirituality in the Pub: The next SIP will be held on Tuesday, 7:30 - 9pm at the Oxford Hotel 170 William Street, Bathurst. The guest speaker is Bishop Pat Power and the topic is "See, Judge and Act: Reading the Sign of the Times". - Central West Women's Health Centre would like to invite Mothers and Daughters to a three-week course to help mothers and daughters understand and deal with the changes that take place during puberty and adolescence. By learning together, young women (10 - 12 years) and their mothers can strengthen their relationship. Topics covered include, Physical, psychological and emotional changes that take place during puberty and adolescence. How to communicate about these changes. Self-esteem and body image. Relaxation strategies for mothers and daughters and bullying and cyber-bullying. This course will start on Wednesday, March 26 and follow on the next two Wednesdays. Starting time is 6pm and the evenings will included a light supper. - Wellness and Wellbeing Expo at CSU in Bathurst: The Charles Sturt University (CSU) 2014 SGE Credit Union Wellness and Wellbeing Conference and Expo in Bathurst on March 27-28. It is an initiative to enhance staff happiness, health and productivity. The Expo will provide participants with information, as well as the opportunity to participate in workshop activities such as yoga, and Pilates.
