- Kelso Public School are hosting a Mother's Day Celebration on Friday, May 9 from 9:15am to 2:45pm.There will be a seminar 'Encouraging Kids Self Esteem Seminar' in the morning followed by a free lunch. The afternoon will be filled with pampering fun, including in a Nutri Metics makeup demonstration and a Fashion Show sponsored by Target.There will be Lucky Door Prizes and Goodie Bags for participants also.You don't have to have a child at the school to participate! - Bathurst Panorama Chorus Family & Friends Concert. A sneak peek of what the chorus will be singing at this year's National Sweet Adeline's competition in Sydney will be held on Friday at 7.00pm at St Philomena's Catholic School Hall, Lloyds Rd, Bathurst. Tickets will be sold at the door, $5 per person which will include a light supper. For more information call 6332 3006.
- Bathurst City Women's bowling club will be holding a fundraising fashion parade. This Friday morning at 10am at the community bowling club crn of William and Durham street. Entry is $8 per person and for more information please call Carol on 6331 1089.
- Treasure Hunt at the Bathurst District Historical Museum. The hunt will be running throughout Heritage week from 10-4pm each day. Come and discover the treasures of the museum. Hunt for hidden objects and win a prize. Kids bring your parents, parents bring the kids. This activity is suitable for all ages and fun everyone.
- The Bathurst Historical Society is holding an open day. Come and see your history! This fabulous day will include tours of the Museum at 11am and 1pm. Come and discover the Treasures of the Museum Hunt for the hidden objects and win a prize. Three of our favourite local historians and authors will be providing a lighthearted commentary on various objects in the Bathurst District Historical Society's collection. Come and hear Sandy Bathgate talking about explorers, carved trees and the finding of the Fish River, Rob McLachlin will tell the tale of the hold up of Dunn's Plains, and Alan Cochrane will talk about Ben Hall and his daring raid of Bathurst. Each talk will be illustrated with objects in the Society's collection and are guaranteed to be cracking good yarns! The first session will be at 11am - gather in the Museum foyer five minutes prior.
- Bathurst & District Kennel Club All Breeds Championship Shows. Over 120 breeds of dogs will be judged by four international judges from Hungary, Russia and Finland. Free entry and open from 9am until 4pm. For more information call 6331 1036
- Taste the Delights of Delaware: Standing proud at the top of Russell Street is the two storey Victorian residence of Delaware. During autumn, Bathurst District Historical Society invite you into this stately home to enjoy a guided tour conducted by the current owners and taste local wines from Algona at Mount Panorama Estate, accompanied by a selection of cheeses. This beautiful estate is located at 320 Russell Street. The tour starts at 4.30pm and runs until 5.30pm. - Bathurst Presbyterian Church Autumn Fair. The church family puts on a fun morning for the community with cakes, craft, plants, white elephant stall, barbecue, Devonshire Tea, live music and activities for the kids including face painting, and animal nursery. All proceeds go to a worthy local cause. This years fundraising will go to Bathurst Community Transport, the daily bus service to Orange for radiation treatment for cancer patients. - Proclamation Day includes great activities and ceremonies On Sunday from 11-2pm. - Bathurst’s Lost Heritage, The Town Square from 5.30pm. Come along and enjoy some wine and cheese while you hear how Bathurst came to be given a town square, how it was lost and how the city is seeking to reclaim it. This FREE event does require bookings so call 6332 3021 to do so or for more information.

- Join Mount Panorama’s Circuit Manager, Mark Rayner, on a walk around the Pit Complex. Explore the media room, podium, garages and hospitality rooms. Learn about the complexity of getting the circuit prepared for a race meet; hear stories about the drivers, cars and races that help to create the legend that is Mount Panorama. Can Assist is made up of a vibrant fabric of Branches which rely heavily on volunteer members to raise funds to support people in their local community affected by cancer. - Crago Mill Guided Tour: 10.30am. As part of Bathurst Heritage Week we will conduct small group tours of the hidden parts of the Mill. You will see the emerging new areas under restoration as well as learn about the Crago family, milling and industrial development in Bathurst. - Bathurst Family Relationship Centre are hosting Step Families information night. Starting at 6pm until 8.30pm this seminar looks at the stages of becoming a stepfamily and the difficulties that may occur. - Council's Free Business Management Workshops – Marketing Series. Bathurst Regional Council, with the support of the Bathurst Business Chamber, is pleased to introduce the next series of free workshops. The workshops will be short, sharp and engaging sessions that address contemporary challenges in marketing and advertising. Each workshop is designed to be interactive and will feature local expert presenters. - Learn more about the Crago Mill: The Crago family were very involved in Bathurst in the late 1880s when Mr Crago was a mayor of the town, and the family often sponsored and donated prizes for sporting events and children's activities. Bernard Vance will tell the fascinating story of this wonderful building in Lower Piper Street, its history and characters, and the ongoing restoration of the mill.
