One of Mudgee’s leading winemakers, Jill Bryant, has been killed in a collision with a vehicle while she was cycling outside the town on Mother's Day.

Police said they were called to Cassilis Road just before 8am on Sunday to reports that a 57-year-old cyclist and a Ford ute had been involved in a crash.
Mrs Bryant, who owned Burnbrae Wines with her husband Tony, died at the scene.
Mrs Bryant and her husband moved to Mudgee in the 1990s following the sale of the family farm at Mount Colah.
They managed wineries initially but, in 2004, bought Burnbrae Wines west of Mudgee, opening their own cellar door as well as contracting winemaking services to others. Their daughter also works at the family business.
The Bryants moved off the property to live in town about a decade ago.
Mrs Bryant had been working in Mudgee as a radiologist when she died.
Police said on Monday morning that they were preparing to take statements from several people about the collision.
The driver of the ute, a 33-year-old man, was not injured and was taken to Mudgee Hospital for mandatory blood and uring testing, police said.
