With a win under their belt in games one and two of this year’s State of Origin, Cr North said the NSW Blues are a sure thing in tonight’s match.
“I’d like to think we can do a clean sweep, I’m confident,” he said.
“I predict a 10-point win.”
Cr North teamed up with the Knickerbocker’s Peta Jamieson to talk football yesterday, not only for tonight’s match but also the upcoming NRL blockbuster between the Penrith Panthers and Cronulla Sharks at Carrington Park on July 26.
With the Panthers sitting on the top of the NRL ladder, Cr North said the action should be great. All three grades will be playing on the day including the Holden Cup, the NSW Cup and the NRL kicks off at 3pm.
He said a variety of game-day packages are on offer for Bathurst football fans to experience the thrill of a live NRL game at Carrington Park.
“Fans still have the chance to stay warm on the big game day by picking up corporate tickets to the match,” he said.
“With uninterrupted views of the field from a premium reserved area, corporate ticket holders will have a front row seat to see all the action.”
Cr North said corporate tickets also include food and beverages, VIP parking and game entry.
To go in the draw to win corporate tickets, head to the Knickerbocker tonight for the final State of Origin match and buy dinner at the bistro to go in the draw to win.
