In April 2014, detectives from Lachlan Local Area Command started investigations into the cultivation of cannabis in the Parkes area.
As a result, police executed a search warrant at a home on a property at Goonumbla, north-west of Parkes, about 11.30am Wednesday.
Officers seized 36 cannabis plants and 390 grams of leaf, with a combined estimated street value of $100,000.
They also seized fertiliser, cutting equipment, scales and other items allegedly associated with the cultivation of prohibited plants.
About 3.40pm a 32-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Parkes.
He was taken to Parkes Police Station where he was charged with cultivating a prohibited plant, supplying a prohibited drug and possessing a prohibited drug.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear before Parkes Local Court on August 4.
