There are recommendations to make donations or waive fees for no fewer than five organisations at the ordinary monthly meeting for July.
The first request for financial assistance to be considered comes from the organisers of the 2015 Bathurst Street and Custom Motorcycle Show to be held on February 7.
City treasurer Bob Roach is recommending council donate the cost of the road closures in Kings Parade to a maximum of $800.
It appears another winner will be the Bathurst Black-trackers Rugby League Club, which is asking council to donate $500 to help the club participate in the 2014 annual Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout to be held in Raymond Terrace over the October long weekend.
The funds would help pay for the playing strip and accommodation.
The Bathurst Filipino-Australian Community Group has applied for $550 to promote the awareness of its organisation to the wider community.
Young Life Bathurst is asking council to waive fees of $816 for the use of the Kelso Community Centre.
It uses the venue to hold meetings one afternoon each week.
Council’s community services staff have advised that Young Life Bathurst provides a valuable service to the youth of Kelso and that the request fits well with the use of the community centre.
The Bathurst Regional Youth Council also looks like it will receive $1626 to fund its dance party at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre on Saturday, August 9.
Funding would cover the cost of hiring the centre, as well as associated costs such as pre-rig set up and staffing.
