Second rower John Korff also got his name on the scoresheet twice as the Roos forward pack dominated during the 49-3 win at No. 1 Oval.
The match was a welcome return to form for the competition leaders after last week's heavy loss to Orange Emus and Hennock was a happy man after the match, especially after watching Ma'a Nelson cement himself as a star of the team after beginning the year in the centres.
"He's made it clear to us that he wants to stay at prop and he's probably just about the best prop in the competition," he said of Ma'a Nelson.
"He's certainly got the physique and the speed for that so it's just making sure he's on at scrum and ruck and maul time."
It was the same old story from the Boars' camp as they struggled due to a host of their leading players being away with work commitments.
"It doesn't help when you've got players out, shift workers and things like that. (We're) pleased with the way about six Colts backed up today, but that makes it hard," coach Trevor Whitaker said.
"It's a shame we've got to do it but we just don't have anyone else to put there. We knew it was going to be tough and the boys hung in and we kept them under 50."
After an early Riley Byrne penalty gave Parkes the lead the Roos began to work their way into the game and scored two quick tries through Brad Pugh and Korff.
Ted Bates produced an impressive individual try when he sliced through and stepped the fullback before Ma'a Nelson got his first when he danced down the sideline after finding some space.
Scott Burgess nailed a sideline conversion earlier in the half but his attempt after the Ma'a Nelson try hit the post and stayed out to leave the half-time score 24-3.
A powerful run from Ma'a Nelson got the Roos in good field position early in the second half and he was on hand to barge his way over shortly after to extend the lead.
Korff continues to improve week after week for the competition leaders and he soon powered his way for his second before debutant winger Blake Sharp enjoyed a special moment when he burrowed his way across the line out wide.
At 39-3 the Boars finally showed some fight as they held out against the Roos attack, but five minutes from time Simon Hegarty grabbed a well deserved try and James Mata put the icing on the result with a brilliant drop goal from halfway to seal the 49-3 win.
"We did what Emus did to us last week so that's good that we can bounce back," Hennock said after the match, before praising his side's effort at the breakdown.
"Much better, we really worked hard on that and we're going to concentrate on that from now until the end of the season but much happier today.
"I can't even recall too many missed tackles so very happy with the defence too."
The only concern for the Roos was inspirational skipper Peter Nau limping off with an ankle injury early in the first half but Hennock was hopeful the NSW Country representative would be fine for next week and was pleased his side regathered after Nau's exit to post such a commanding win.
