A 24-YEAR-OLD man has been charged over a crash near Oberon last month that claimed the life of a teenage girl.

Bathurst police were called to the Lowes Mount State Forest just after midnight on Saturday, June 7 following reports of a crash.
Officers were told a group of friends from Wollongong were driving a 4WD through the area, when the vehicle left the trail and rolled.
A 15-year-old girl was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Two male passengers also sustained minor injuries; a 21-year-old man was taken to Bathurst Hospital as a precaution, while the other did not require further medical treatment.
A third passenger, a 20-year-old man, sustained serious head and abdominal injuries, and was airlifted to Orange Hospital.
The 24-year-old male driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Oberon Hospital.
On Monday, police arrested the driver at Wollongong police station.
He has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death; dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and failing to disclose the identification of passenger.
The man has been granted bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court on August 26.
