Kim Leanne Hartnett, aged 46, of Payne Close,Kelso appeared before magistrate Michael Allen in Bathurst Local Court on Monday.
Police facts tendered to the court told how on July 17, 2013, Hartnett was driving east on the Great Western Highway.
About three kilometres from Lithgow, she lost control of the vehicle when negotiating a right-hand bend and slid 30 metres, spinning 180 degrees before coming to a stop.
Police were called and Hartnett was subjected to a roadside breath test which produced a negative result. However, police noticed Hartnett’s speech was slurred and believed she may been under the influence of drugs.
She was subsequently taken to Lithgow Hospital where a blood sample was taken, which showed traces of amphetamine, morphine, diazepam and fentanyl.
On the unregistered vehicle charge Hartnett was fined $100. The uninsured vehicle charge was dealt with under Section 10A.
