A sophisticated and spacious family home that embraces luxury with a country lifestyle has come onto the property market for the very first time.
The Blue Ridge Drive property, built by local master builder Steve Rigby, offers its owners resort-style living.
Owner Jo Deane-Butcher said the home was perfect for a family who liked to entertain.
"It is a great family home and a great house for entertaining," she said.
"It would also be excellent as a B & B as it has a self contained granny flat."
Including the self-contained separate accommodation, the home boasts six bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large kitchen and family room, a formal living and dining room, a large laundry and a rumpus room.
The master-built home, which has previously featured in the Spring Spectacular, overlooks approximately 2000 square metres of exquisite gardens and is embraced by a warm Northerly aspect.
With a propagating shed and a large additional water supply available from a private bore, the property is a gardeners delight.
While a large undercover alfresco area, beautiful gazebos and a 12 metre in-ground saltwater pool with solar heating, make the home perfect for outdoor entertaining.
Jo said her late husband John had loved designing the outdoor area and the beautiful garden.
"We built all these lovely gazebos and just wanted to create something really special," she said.
With such a spectacular garden and lovely views, it is no surprise to hear that Jo's daughter Felicity was married in the backyard earlier this year.
"It is just such a lovely outdoor space and it was a beautiful day," Jo said.
With her four children all grown up, Jo said it was time for her to down size from the magnificent house.
"I've lived here for close to a decade," she said.
"Our four children had just finished school when we were building, but we built a bedroom for each and the flat for my mum. When the kids would come home, they would joke that they were 'coming back to the resort'."
Jo noted the north facing property received wonderful sunshine all year round. She added under-floor heating and reverse cycle air conditioning kept the home warm in winter and cool in summer. Jo said she hopes the new owners will enjoy the property as much as her own family did.
"It will be lovely for someone else to move in and really enjoy it as much as we have."
