Receiving more than 1000 entries in previous years, the NCCWS represents virtually all cool climate wine producing regions in Australia.
Past trophy and class winners have gone on to win awards at state shows and other specialist wine awards.
The NCCWS will once again be held at the Bathurst Showground Pavilion, giving all wineries and wine connoisseurs a chance to participate in the tasting and judging of the most diverse selection of wines in Australia.
Organised by a committee from the Bathurst Regional Vignerons Association, the NCCWS has a range of criteria that need to be satisfied for the entry to be valid, including the criteria of experiencing cool autumns and varying day and night temperatures.
Eligible vignerons and wine makers must register their entries for the 2014 by August 31, 2014.
The public tasting night on Friday, October 17 will allow the public to experience many of the different cool climate wines Australia has to offer and judge them for themselves.
For further information on the 2014 Schedule of Regulations or an entry form visit the NCCWS website at www.coolwines. com.au, or contact chief steward Mark Haley at mark.haley@ reliance.com.au.
