It's a big few days for rugby union fans across the area with the Wallabies touring and training through the Central West. This afternoon they will be training at Ashwood Park from 2.30pm before holding coaching sessions with local junior and senior clubs, followed by some Q & A opportunities for senior players and club members.
The Wallabies were on hand to launch the Rugby Championship at Mount Panorama yesterday morning, where vice-captain James Slipper shared some of his thoughts on the upcoming challenges for the Wallabies.

On a sombre note, today is being recognised as an official day of mourning for the victims of flight MH17, in particular the 38 Australians who died. Take a moment to remember Australia's MH17 victims. We are thinking of their families today.

Police are appealing to any witnesses to come forward after a pizza delivery person was robbed at knifepoint in Rivett Place Kelso. About 10.20pm last night an order was place for delivery and when the victim arrived at the location he was confronted by two males who threatened him with a knife before robbing him of the pizzas and an amount of cash.

Five navy personnel aboard the infamous “burned hands” asylum boat have denied that any asylum seekers were assaulted, harmed “in any manner” or mistreated during the January tow-back operation.
Their denials contradict the statements of one eyewitness and two alleged victims aboard the boat who alleged that naval personnel deliberately held the hands of three men to a hot exhaust pipe to discourage them from going to the toilet more than once daily.
A former part-time librarian at a Sydney design school has been charged after she allegedly accessed student records of Prime Minister Tony Abbott's daughter.
Twenty-year-old woman UTS student Freya Newman was charged with unauthorised access of restricted data on Monday, an offence that carries a maximum penalty of two years jail.

THE rugby union Wallabies started their tour of Bathurst at Mount Panorama this morning. Six of the players were treated to a tour of the track by Bathurst 1000 winner Russell Ingall and Mark Winterbottom.
The Bathurst Business Chamber Board has launched a rare foray into state politics, officially endorsing proposals to reopen the Kirkconnell Correctional Centre.
As word of the family of albino wallaroos on Mount Panorama spreads through social media there is a very real danger that people might love them to death.
