- See Better, Teach Better, Sound Better, Accredited Professional Development for Music and Voice teachers. The foundation of every musician’s wonderful skill is the control of his or her overall movement coordination. An easy, free, comfortable body opens the door to high levels of skill, power, subtlety and enjoyment. Offered in Bathurst in partnership with the Mitchell Conservatorium the course is 12 hours, over two full days. Cost $150. Inquiries 6331 6622.

- Ever wanted to learn acrobatics? Aerial hoop? Juggling? PCYC Bathurst has a new exciting circus class for kids aged 12-15 years. Wednesday nights at 6pm. First class is free so why not come down and give it a go! For more info call 6331 2191 or just turn up on the night. Bathurst PCYC: 6331 2191.
- The Blackheath Phoenix Choir are looking for local singers to join them in rehearsals and performance of Gabriel Faure` Requiem. With enough volunteers they hope to hold the practices in Bathurst and in the Blue Mountains.
Included in the prep work will be a full day workshop in Wentworth falls, five Tuesday rehearsals in Blackheath, September 16- October 28 and three performances on Sundays, from October 26 - November 9.
The performances are dedicated concerts in memory of the victims of the Great War, which has its 100 year anniversary. If you are interested in joining the choir for these special events call 0488 067 746 or you can email the organiser md@phoenixchoir.org
