Clinton Chandler, 25, of President Avenue, Caringbah appeared in person and unrepresented before magistrate Michael Allen in Bathurst Local Court recently.
The court heard how on May 10 this year Chandler attended Panthers for a family function where he consumed an unknown amount of alcohol.
At 11pm he and a co-accused attempted to enter the Oxford Hotel, but were refused entry.
After an incident with security staff at the hotel, security contacted police to have Chandler and the co-accused removed from the premises.
But, the two men left the Oxford Hotel before police arrived and returned to Panthers.
Police allege the co-accused intentionally bumped into the victim, while also attempting to strike another man.
Chandler threw a number of punches at the first victim starting a brawl between all four parties.
Witnesses attempted to break-up the fight and police allege Chandler and the co-accused continued to throw punches and kicked out at a number of people.
Police then arrested and charged Chandler at Bathurst Police Station.
Mr Allen convicted Chandler and fined him $1000.
