The host of a party that descended into a brawl on Friday night, leaving one teenager in a serious condition with stab wounds and a policeman in hospital, has called it a good night.

Daniel Coombes, 18, has laughed at news coverage of the violence outside a Merrylands function hall and said the reports were "making it out to be so much bullshit".
Police said the dog squad, the Public Order Riot Squad and officers from Holroyd, Parramatta and Rosehill local area commands had to attend the party at 11pm on Friday after gatecrashers attended.
A 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest and remained in a serious but stable condition in Westmead Hospital on Sunday.
A senior constable was hit on the arm with a bottle and was treated in hospital then released.
In a Facebook post, Mr Coombes said: "HAHAHAHAHA full hectic party HAHAHAHAHA".
The 18th birthday celebration for Mr Coombes and a friend, Canzo Tha Vatto, was held in the hall but spilt onto Merrylands Oval when gatecrashers arrived.
One guest, who watched the fight erupt, said a knife and a screwdriver were pulled out.
When the 17-year-old was stabbed, five of his friends crowded around him trying to cover the wound until paramedics arrived.
"I overheard one of the boys on the phone telling whoever was on the other end to get more people to come down and back him up," he said.
Another guest, who did not want to be named, said the 17-year-old stabbing victim was a gatecrasher who was "in the wrong position at that time".
"It was a great party and great night till young adults like children came and join [sic] and started to cause trouble and that's when stuff turned ugly and got out of control," he said.
Other teenagers gloated about how good the violent night was. One attendee, Tyrell Perese, posted online: "It wasn't even that bad haha". Another, Isaiah Tidermann-Howell, said it was the "sickest" party.
One teenager, Michael Ufi, said he was caught in the crossfire when a partygoer aimed a bottle at a police officer and it shattered on his legs.
"Lucky [it] wasn't my head," he said.
There was no alcohol allowed at the party and the host, Mr Coombes' mother Julie, said security was hired.
She defended herself online, saying it could have happened to anyone.
"To all the perfect people. They were Gatecrashers and security was at the party. So keep thinking your [sic] all perfect and it won't happen to you because it can. With or without security. I pray that it never happens to anyone," she said.
A mother of a girl who attended the party said the host was an "absolute mess".
Police had not laid any charges by Sunday afternoon and they have called for witnesses to come forward.
