The 49.4-hectare quarry is located 11 kilometres south-west of Bathurst along the Mid Western Highway, and is owned by Alchemy Pastoral Projects.
The application seeks approval to expand the extraction of weathered granite gravel and sand, along with its screening and washing.
In addition, Alchemy Pastoral Projects will also conduct a progressive backfill and profiling of the extraction area to provide for future agricultural activities.
Based on the proposed rate of production and estimated quarry resource, the life of the Dreamland Quarry is expected to exceed 25 years.
The Joint Regional Planning Panel will meet at 11.30am on Tuesday, September 2 at Bathurst Regional Council.
Registrations must be made to speak at the meeting by contacting the Regional Panel Secretariat before 4pm tomorrow on 9228 2060 or email angela.kenna@ planning.nsw.gov.au.
The business papers can be viewed online at www.jrpp.nsw.gov.au.
