Alexander Charles Sharp and Joshua George O'Bernier were welcomed into the world by their excited families.

THE Australian Red Cross mobile blood bank is back in Bathurst until Thursday at Charles Sturt University. Don’t miss the chance to save a life and help someone else by donating blood.
The mobile donor centre will be at CSU today from 9.10am until 1.30pm, and again tomorrow and Thursday from 9.10am to 3.40pm.

There are plenty of community activities to be involved in around the Bathurst region at the moment.
■ SKETCHY BUSINESS: The Bathsy Bathurst 200 Stencil Project is a competition to find five stencils interpreting some specific historical events. They will go on the pavement in the Bathurst CBD as part of next year's Bicentenary celebrations. The stencils will be maintained by the council on a long-term basis. To help everyone get ready, a stencil workshop will be run on October 25 at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery. Cost is $10 per person and materials will be supplied. Bookings are essential by emailing bathsy@bathurstarts council.org.au or Visit http://www.bathsy200.com. Selected images will win $250 each. Entries are due by December 19, 2014.

BATHURST motorists may soon be parking “between the lines” in the CBD. Bathurst Regional Council’s traffic committee has backed calls to introduce line marking on city streets to help motorists correctly park at a 45-degree angle.
THE annoying buzz of two-wheeled petrol-powered pests will be banned from our streets next month under new legislation introduced by the State Government. Bathurst residents had been calling for a ban as far back as March 2012.
SPORTING equipment was stolen during a break and enter at Holy Family Primary over the weekend, the latest in a series of recent break-ins at local schools.
