The latest traffic update, just in case you are heading to Sydney:

Western Advocate columnist John Seaman explains that results of auction sales for cattle studs in our district are all positive, with average and clearance rates being acceptable to both buyers and sellers.
But his thought for this week contains some words of warning. A couple of dry, windy weeks would change our situation quickly. Most livestock are in excellent condition and all meat markets are pretty good. Please don't be overstocked and miss good markets in a spring that is only average.

Two youths have stolen a bottle of Bundaberg rum from a liquor store in one of the shopping centres. So, why not get a table of friends together, dress to the nines, enjoy some great food and entertainment and support two extremely worthy causes?
The Ball will be held at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre on Friday, October 10 from 6.30pm. Tickets are $85 per person (which includes a three-course meal and entertainment) and can be purchased through BMEC. Contact 0407 489 634 for more information.
