The city’s CBD is expected to be abuzz as shoppers flock to take advantage of the bargains on offer.
Moe Alameddine from Get Supp’d was yesterday making final preparations for Crazy Day.
He said he couldn’t wait until 9am to open the doors.
“Basically we will have everything on sale, from Lorna Jane active wear to pre-workout proteins to men’s singlets and tank tops,” he said.
“And the eighties theme is going to be pretty fun. We will be opening our doors at 9am and be going through until 7.30pm.”
Western Advocate advertising manager Erin Peacock said there was an excellent vibe around the city.
“People are really excited; the retailers are really looking forward to it,” she said.
Mrs Peacock said from 9am until the close of trade, there will be literally thousands of bargains, plus great prizes for shoppers.
“All people have to do is shop at participating businesses and ask for a scratchie,” she said.
“If you scratch three of the same symbols you’re up for a cash prize.”
Mrs Peacock said the creme de la creme of retailers was participating in the day.
“Both Bathurst Stockland and Bathurst City Centre are involved, plus a heap of the city’s leading retailers,” she said.
“There is literally something for everyone.
“Pussyfoot, Get Supp’d and Nifty 50 are on board, and so are Sportspower who have all of your sporting needs. Gorgeousness and Red Chair will have boutique bargains. The range this year is incredibly broad,” she said.
