-Green Drinks at Rahamim: Green Drinks will have a unique format in September. The invitation is for attendees to supply the link to a short [3.5minute] 'green clip', introduce their 'green clip' and then pose the question for discussion. Members of the audience will provide the pedal power energy to screen the clip via the bike generators. Please send the links to the 'green clip' to bookings@rahamim.org.au ahead of time. 5.30pm $10pp, drinks and nibbles included.
- Giant Booksale at Bathurst Library on today from 10-2pm. Library forecourt.
- Angel Gowns Australia: Our Bathurst open day and donation drive will be held today between 10-2pm at Rafters Bar, Charles Sturt University. Angel Gown volunteers create special gowns for babies who are born sleeping and grow their wings far too soon. The angel gowns are made from donated wedding dresses. Examples will be on display as well as sewing demos and prizes. Donations will be accepted on the day of dresses as well as postage and sewing supplies. Details: Naomee naomeewotton@gmail.com
-The Threads of Time exhibition will officially open at 3pm today at the Chifley Home and Education Centre, Busby Street, Bathurst. The exhibition will run through until Monday December 8, and will be open from Saturday to Monday at 11am to 1pm, with tours at 10am and 12pm.

- Bathsy Bathurst 200 Stencil Project is part of Bathurst Bicentenary. It is a competition to find five stencils interpreting specific historical events. They will go on the pavement in the Bathurst CBD. The stencils will be maintained by the council on a long-term basis. Selected images will win $250 each. Make it as creative and imaginative as you can. Entries are due by December 19, 2014. At stencil workshop will be run October 25 at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery. $10 per person.
