Bathurst driver Terry Nightingale had what he called "the biggest moment of his racing career" when driving in his first ever V8 Utes race at Mount Panorama.

Nightingale went over the crest into McPhillamy Park on his final lap and as he made the left hand turn he lost control.

Nightingale has uploaded the on board footage of the incident, showing off some quick hands and quick thinking under pressure.

Nightingale improved his results gradually over his three races, coming home with a 14th place in the final drive.
