It was a sell-out event at all the shows, with Big Ted, Jemima and Humpty Dumpty among the old favourites taking the stage.
The production was in Bathurst as part of the iconic children’s television program’s Prince of Bears tour scheduled to visit cities across Australia during 2014.
Children of all ages enjoyed the interactive show featuring Big Ted and his friends, with Prince Big Ted on a royal adventure to find his castle in the company of Humpty, Little Ted, Jemima, and the rest of the gang.
Among the crowds were Shane Woolfe, his wife Natasha and their two children Matthew and Charlie.
Shane said his children absolutely loved the show.
“Matthew was fixated on it,” he said.
“He watches Play School at home and he didn’t take his eyes off them.”
“My other son, Charlie was up the front with Tash, and he was dancing the whole time,” he laughed.
Shane said his wife organised the tickets, and believed she bought them early, to ensure the kids did not miss out.
“It was pretty full,” he said of the performance.
Shane, who has previously taken his children to another Play School production in Castle Hill, said yesterday’s event was great for the kids.
“I think Charlie will be talking about this for the next couple of weeks,” he laughed.
The show was led by Play School presenters Alex Papps and Michelle Lim Davidson.
Michelle said the show was always popular with young audiences.
“It’s really interactive, we get them up singing and dancing for the whole show,” she said.
