- Fire and Rescue NSW State Championships: The skills events will run from 8am to 4pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Learmonth Park (off Gilmour Street); A torchlight procession will be held on Friday from 7.30pm, involving all firefighters, historic fire engines from the Museum of Fire in Penrith, and the Scots School marching band. The procession will start at William Street, move into Howick Street and finish at Carrington Park, where a firefighter challenge will be held for local sporting clubs. Fireworks will be held at 8.30pm. The Fire and Rescue NSW Band and Precision Drill Marching Team will perform in Russell Street, near Kings Parade, between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday.
- Orange Wine Festival Night Market: The annual Night Market is the collaboration of winemakers, producers and chefs in the centre of Orange. Under lights with live music and family entertainment, there will be over 40 stalls offering an array of the region’s food and wine. - St Phil’s Christmas Carnival: Great activities for all including rock climbing wall, Sumo suit wrestling, jumping castle, merry go round and laser tag. Try your hand at the Chocolate wheel, trash ‘n’ treasure, cake stalls, cupcake decorating, snow cones, chocolate toss, tattoos, hair colour to mention just a few. All welcome. - Bathurst Indoor Cricket Centre: In2CRICKET introduces girls and boys to Australia’s favourite sport. It’s great fun, safe and teaches basic skills to help kids learn to play just like their Australian Cricket Heroes. Graduates from this program include Michael Clarke, Mitchell Starc and Ellyse Perry Registration. - Bathurst Spring Spectacular: Visit some of Bathurst's most beautiful gardens this weekend from 9.30am-5pm (Saturday and Sunday). Tickets $15 available at the Visitor's Information Centre and at all gardens. Click here to download this year's guide.
- Bathurst Farmers' Market: The Bathurst Farmers' Market will be held this Saturday from 8am at the Bathurst Showgrounds. Come along to buy delicious seasonal and regional food.

- Phoenix Choir Performs Fauré’s Requiem: This wonderful concert will be held in Bathurst at All Saints' Anglican Cathedral from 2.30pm. The Phoenix Choir will present a new arrangement of this sublime masterpiece – accompanied by cello, violin/viola, organ, that echoes the spirit of Fauré’s original, more intimate, version.
