► Fundraiser: Help the fight against Ebola and dance night away. Bring yourself and friends to the dance night fundraiser at the Bathurst City Community Club on Friday, October 31 from 8 until late. $20 as the door. DJ B-Dub will provide the music and all proceeds from the night will go to Medecins Sans Frontiers ‘Doctors without borders’
► Assumption School’s Twilight Fete: Come along and visit Assumption School's annual fete. There will be a jumping castle, chocolate toss, lots of stalls and tasty snacks on offer. Students will be performing and you can even dress up in your best trick or treat outfit. All welcome. Details: 4-8pm, 192 Mitre Street.
►Trick or Treat? It is time again for Bathurst Girl Guides third Community Halloween Treat Trail. All girls and boys up to 12 years are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult and a car is required as you need to travel to your destination. The evening will start at 5pm at the Girl Guide Hall in Charlotte Street. There will be a sausage sizzle for dinner. Maps and Treat bags will be given out from 5.45pm and houses will be open from 6pm. A costume is a must! The ‘trick’ – to entertain and you will be asked to entertain for your treat – a Knock, Knock or other joke, a limerick, poem, song chorus or even a nursery rhyme. ► Jumbo’s Halloween Disco: Come along dressed in your favorite costume. Music, fun, games and prizes for best dressed. From 6-8pm 5-12yrs $15 per person including a hotdog and cordial. ► Rising Stars concert: Featuring seven of Australia’s finest young singers, singing the hits of Broadway, Opera, Operetta and Cabaret. Includes guest performances from Bathurst’s own rising stars. ► Celtic Beat: Experience an inspirational journey covering the last 60 years of Irish music and humour with the award winning captivating artistry of Multi talented performers Peter Byrne, Paul Martell, Eileen McCann and Pat Mckernan. ► Possum Skin Cloak Healing workshop: Banmirra Arts Inc., in partnership with the local Aboriginal Community & Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, will be running a Possum Skin Cloak Healing workshop from 10-4pm. ► Craft and Art on Show: Once again Central Tablelands Woodcraft in Bathurst is hosting a wonderful display of local artisans work at the Royal Bathurst Showground. The weekend of demonstrations and displays of a really wide range of local products provides a wonderful opportunity to learn and purchase locally made handiwork and art – just in time for Christmas! ► Pink Morning Tea: Curves Bathurst is hosting a Unite in Pink Morning Tea 10:30am on Saturday at 217 Howick Street. Stalls, raffles, displays and friendship. There is a $5 entry fee, all are welcome, please bring a small plate to share.
►The Sustainable Lifestyle House: Visit the Sustainable Lifestyle House, which is funded by Bathurst Regional Council to improve awareness of and encourage the adoption of sustainable building design. Details: 17 McGirr Street, 9am -1 2pm. Contact: 02 6333 6276
► Bathurst Riding for the Disabled Family Fun Day: Come along with the family for a great day out while supporting a local non profit organsation. Entry gold coin donation per person, activities separate gold coin. The day will include pony rides, live music, jumping castle, animal nursery, heavy horse display, market stalls, raffles, paint the pony, free face painting, NSW Rural fire service and Powder Monkey Horse Display. ► Central West Care Spring into Summer Fair: The fair will feature a car boot sale ($20 a stall), jumping castle, silent auction, kid’s activities, produce, barbecue, historic car and bike displays, Devonshire teas, live music. Details: 9am – 2pm at Bathurst Christian Life Centre Corner of Gilmour and Hereford Street opposite the Trinity Heights Shops.
► Movies at the Bathurst Aquatic Centre: It's movie time again at Bathurst Aquatic Centre. Movies will be included in the price of entry and will be located at the leisure pool from 9am on both Saturday and Sunday. The movies will include Frozen, Ice Age and many more, so come in and get out of the heat.
► Church in the Park: Bathurst Presbyterian will be hosting ‘Church in the Park’, this Sunday at 10am, in Machattie Park, where people can take a peak just walking by and see what goes on at Church, stay if you want to.
► BCF Carp Blitz: Entry by gold coin donation to RSL Fishing Club Trust. All proceeds used to restock native fish in local waterways. ► Messiah: The Allegri Singers will perform 'Messiah' at the All Saints Cathedral, 3pm.

► Marmalade Festival: The Peel Jam! Come and spend a lazy spring evening listening to live music donated by local artists and groups in the grounds of the Old School House at Peel. All proceeds go to the Peel Recreation Reserve Trust and the Peel Native Flora and Fauna Reserve Trust. From 3.30pm for 4pm start until dark.
