Emergency services were called to the Mitchell Highway at 2.12pm on Sunday with reports a sedan had collided with a nine-tonne truck.
Ambulance Service of NSW Inspector Rhys Dive said the accident occurred in a 100km/h zone near the Robin Hill estate.
"She left the road and travelled into a paddock and fortunately she's got some relatively minor injuries," he said.
"She went through a fence and down an embankment into a paddock."
The woman received facial injuries during the crash, and paramedics took precautions for spinal injuries during their treatment.
"She was transported her to Orange hospital in a stable condition," Inspector Dive said.
Chifley Local Area Command Inspector Ross Hunt said the male truck driver was not injured in the accident.
The Mitchell Highway remained closed until 3.50pm following the accident, with traffic diversions in place.
Inspector Hunt said investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
