Clique will take centre stage at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre and at The Breakout Site in Cowra.
It’s a performance presented by Lingua Franca and United Fusion, two of the Central West’s most innovative physical performance companies working with young dancers and actors.
The project was made possible by the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund, which supports sustainable cultural development in regional, rural and remote Australia.
Alison Plevey and Adam Deusian are the co-directors of the Bathurst-based Lingua Franca.
Last year they starred in Right Behind You.
BMEC’s creative producer Kylie Shead said Alison and Adam have worked their way through the Local Stages program.
“They are great young artists who have developed their skills and are now working at a fantastic, professional level,” she said.
Alison attended MacKillop College and, after graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, returned to live in her home town.
Clique will be performed at BMEC tonight at 6pm and again tomorrow at 2pm and 6pm.
Tickets are available from the BMEC box office. Phone 6333 6161.
