Open fires are banned until midnight, along with any activity in the open that is likely to cause a fire.
No general purpose hot works including the use of tractors, slashers and/or welding, grinding or gas cutting can be done in the open either, and this includes incinerators and barbecues which burn solid fuel including wood or charcoal.
Stay up-to-date with fire risk and any fires in your area with the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS).
NSW RFS Chifley Zone fire crews have urged people to make a Bushfire Survival Plan and not be complacent with their safety.
The total fire ban will remain in place until midnight.
