At 100 squares, it boasts six large bedrooms, five bathrooms and huge living spaces, including a formal lounge, formal dining, meals, billiards, rumpus and additional living spaces, this showpiece can cater for the largest of families.
Spread over three levels, all rooms either look over the manicured grounds or outdoor pool and spa area.
With a stunning concrete 11.5 metre pool, garaging for at least six cars, huge patio area and multiple outdoor entertaining areas, it will absolutely take your breath away.
Owners Suzie and Andrew Dowd purchased the property about eight years ago, and love the fact their family could spread their wings.
“We just loved the space, and the fact it was five minutes from the post office,” she said.
“You just can’t get properties this size so close to town now.”
Suzie said she and Andrew would happily stay here forever, but as their children grow up and look to further their studies at university, the house is simply becoming too large for two people.
“We have it on the market [for a specific price] and if someone comes along and buys it, great, but if not I’m more then happy to stay,” she said.
Suzie said the fact it was set on almost three acres was brilliant for when the children were younger, and they spent many hours playing in the manicured gardens, which includes a cubby house, swings and tree house.
“The garden is very low maintenance, it’s more like a park then anything else, and it’s fully irrigated,” Suzie said.
The outdoor entertaining area is simply massive and lends itself to fabulous parties by the pool.
“It’s brilliant for entertaining, we’ve had all our birthdays here.”
The kitchen, a chef’s delight, could compete with any catering equivalent, with an Ilve European stainless steel oven, and an enormous granite breakfast bar which leads out onto the stunning outdoor pool area.
The parent’s retreat features stunning views over the property, while the children’s area, which comes off the billiards room, has enough room for a ping pong table, entertainment unit, and a bar area!
Suzie said people are always amazed at the size of the house, which was built in 1980. It was later purchased by a local builder who extended the property, almost doubling its original size.
Grant Maskill-Dowton, from Raine and Horne, described the property as the ultimate in luxury lifestyle.
“With huge proportions in living space this showpiece can cater for largest of families or would also make a great B&B proposition,” he said.
“It really is a property that has to be inspected to appreciate all it has to offer.”
