RTA Live Traffic website now reports all lanes of the Great Western Highway at Hartley have now reopened following an earlier truck accident.

EMERGENCY services are still at the scene of an accident at the top of River Lett Hill on the Great Western Highway.
While early reports were that the tanker had overturned it is now believed that the truck jackknifed in the rain before ploughing into the front garden of a private home.
The Lithgow Mercury is reporting that the tanker was loaded with molasses.
Authorities have introduced alternating traffic movement past the scene and only brief delays are currently being experienced.

MOTORISTS travelling eastbound on the Great Western Highway are now able to pass the site of a truck accident at Hartley.
Only one lane of the highway is open near Jenolan Caves Road under alternating (stop/slow) conditions.
Traffic through the area is heavy so motorists are advised to allow additional travel time or use Bells Line of Road as an alternative.

Roads and Maritime Services personnel are at the scene of the accident, which occurred at around noon on Wednesday.
The RTA Live Traffic has advised motorists to avoid the area with heavy traffic conditions in surrounding areas.
Eastbound motorists can use the Bells Line of Road as an alternative route, which is suitable for all vehicles.
