The Wendy Turnbull-trained and Emma Turnbull-driven Premium Angus ($5.50) finished 6.5 metres clear of Major Armbro ($19.80) and 8.7m ahead of joint favourite Alphitonia ($3.10).
It was a well-earned win for the Trump Casino out of Patirra gelding after a string of midfield finishes.
The gelding took Wednesday’s win from the inside of the second row.
Presidential Holme got the best start from gate three before Hallycould and Count Montecristo drew level on the outside.
Count Montecristo kept driving forward to take the lead, while Alphitonia, who had followed him, got to the death seat at the bell.
Bernie Hewitt continued to press on and opened up a gap as large as 15m on Alphitonia across the back of the track.
Moonshinestudleigh tried to lead the charge to catch Hewitt’s runner coming into the final turn, but couldn’t match the pace.
Major Armbro and Premium Angus worked their way around to catch Hewitt on the home straight and make it a race of three to the line.
It was the widest of them, Premium Angus, who dashed away with ease to take out the race in a mile rate of 1:57.5.
“He’s been going really well, but he’s a luck horse,” Emma Turnbull said.
“They went a bit silly up in front and that just set it up for him and he ran over the top of them.
“He’s been running really good races but only been running fifth, but his times have been amazing.
“The thing is that he has no gate speed, which makes it hard for him. In saying that, whenever they run silly and get a little bit tired down the straight, he can run them down.
“It helped him win the whole race with that speed up the front early.”
It was the first win in 14 starts for Turnbull’s five-year-old and the first since March last year.
Eight trainers found success over the eight races at Bathurst’s memorial night.
