THE Mitchell Highway remains closed in both directions at Dunkeld following a crash this afternoon.
Road diversions remain in place for motorists travelling between Bathurst and Orange.
Drivers are asked to expect delays and exercise caution in the area.

THREE men have been transported to Orange Hospital following an accident at Dunkeld on Monday afternoon.
A truck and a four-wheel-drive were involved in the accident.
The driver of the truck was transported to Orange Hospital by the NSW Ambulance rescue helicopter.
The truck passenger and the driver of the 4WD were both transported by road ambulance.
Mitchell Highway remains closed in both directions with westbound traffic rerouted via the Mid Western Highway to Blayney, then the Millthorpe Road to rejoin the Mitchell Highway to Orange.
Eastbound traffic from Orange is being diverted to Millthorpe Road and then the Mid Western Highway to Bathurst.

THE Mitchell Highway is closed in both directions at Dunkeld, 10 kilometres west of Bathurst, due to an accident involving two vehicles on Monday afternoon.
Eastbound motorists are advised to travel via Milthorpe and Blayney on Milthorpe Road before continuing on the Mid Western Highway to Bathurst.
Westbound motorists are advised to use the Mid Western Highway to Blayney, then Milthorpe Road through Milthorpe to rejoin the Mitchell Highway just east of Lucknow.
This diversion is suitable for all vehicles.
Motorists travelling in both directions are advised to allow additional travel time.
Emergency services and traffic crews are on site working to free trapped occupants.
