Name: Michael Clancy
How many times have you done this: My first election was in 1984.
How did you get involved in politics: I have been a member of the ALP since 1983. I have a strong belief in the democratic process. It's important that we are out and seen to be supporting what we believe in.
What's the best thing about election day: Personally, I enjoy days like this so that you can meet other people and have a chat.
What's your funniest election day experience: I don't really have a funniest experience, but I've always found the best side if people comes out on days like today.
What do think the main issue is for the seat of Bathurst this election: I don't see it as a single issue to me ti's more about overall governance of the state. Education is a key issue, so is selling the poles and wires.
