The popular culinary bus tour of the Bathurst region – which pairs food and wine producers – will return on Sunday, June 14.
New food providers are Rydges Mount Panorama executive chef Andrew Morgan, who is matched with Renzaglia Wines at O’Connell; Nikki Christensen of the Wholefood Kitchen, who has been working with Vale Creek Wines; Chris and Xanthe Morgan at
historic Abercrombie House, working with Three Views Vineyard; and Mount Panorama Estate, which will be host to a trio of chefs: Chris Ringrose of Morish Morsels, Sophie Lenz of Skillets Bistro and Brian Cook of Cooks Kitchen Central West.
Regular food and wine providers are Winburndale Wines, who are connected to LeGall Patisserie, and Restaurant 9inety 2wo, again working with Stone Pine Distillery.
Greg Tucker of Panorama Cruise and Travel said the plan is to fill six buses this year, one up on last year, and he says the new locations and a wide range of new food providers should attract local, regional and city wine and food gourmets.
Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, April 30 from Panorama Travel at 133 Howick Street, Bathurst, and the cost is $148 per person.
The Winter Winery Wander has been held since 2006.
The event continues to attract strong support from locals and visitors, some of whom travel from as far away as Newcastle and Sydney to join in the experience, Mr Tucker said.
