Jennifer's parents Geoff and Robyn Rayner of Pomanara Merino Stud at Hill End were involved in the judging for the junior merinos and the fat lambs this year, while Jennifer, her fiance Nathan Dennis and little boy Hunter were enjoying all the atmosphere and fun of the fair.
Although Hunter is only 18 months old, it is already his second Royal Bathurst Show.
Ms Rayner said she came to the Bathurst Show as a baby and now her son was having the same experience.
The family attended the show on both Saturday and Sunday.
"We are really enjoying taking the little man around to see all the animals," she said.
"I think this is probably the best year at the show we have seen for a while. There's a lot more displays, and a lot more for the kids.
"It feels like a return to the old days. The organisers have done a great job."
She said her favourite part of the show was seeing all the animals, adding that if there was one issue it was the weather.
"But you can't do anything about that," she said. "The parking was a bit horrendous, but that's just a little problem in the scheme of things.
"We are really happy to be here as a family and support the town.
"Being so busy, we don't often get the chance to do things together on a Sunday.
"Also for us it's a way to run into relatives and people we might not see for another year."
Ms Rayner said shows had a very important role to play because they brought the community together, brought money into the town and got people involved.
She added that shows also got the younger generation thinking about where their food comes from, and they get to have fun at the same time.
