Held each winter, the full-day tour on Sunday, June 14 winds its way through the region’s best wineries and restaurants.
Mrs Ciccocioppo, her husband and friends will be among more than 300 people to take part in this year’s wander.
“It’s just a relaxing day ... you can just catch up with friends and take the time out to enjoy,” she said.
This will be her second time aboard the bus tour and Mrs Ciccocioppo said she was looking forward to a great day out.
“It’s always great to see what’s out there,” she said of local producers.
The wander is so popular that organisers have put on a sixth bus this year, up from five last year. Organiser Greg Tucker said more than 280 tickets were sold in the first two hours yesterday.
“It’s a bit of fun and a great day’s outing with incredibly good food and wine,” he said.
“It’s a lovely day around the district to places sometimes locals don’t even know.”
Wander participants will visit four out of the six locations scheduled in this year’s wander, with each stop matching up a top chef with a wine/spirit maker.
This year stops include pairings between Legall Patisserie and Winburndale Wines, Wholefood Kitchen and Vale Creek Wines, Restaurant 9inety 2wo and Stone Pine Distillery, Rydges Mount Panorama and Renzaglia Wines, a trio of Algona chefs and Mount Panorama Estate, and 3 Views Vineyard and Abercrombie House.
Tour participants will receive one course at each of the four stops, along with tastings and a glass of wine/spirits.
Limited tickets are available, for $148, at Panorama Cruise and Travel, 133 Howick Street.
