INJURED Orange CYMS captain-coach Mick Sullivan is confident his rampant green and gold side can topple Bathurst Panthers on Sunday, despite several injury concerns.
Group 10 second rower Kyran Bubb and boom 2015 recruit Matt Rose are both nursing hamstring injuries, and are in doubt for Sunday’s clash at Carrington Park.
“We’ve got a couple of injury complaints but I’m sure we’ve got the squad to go down there and get the result,” Sullivan said of the Group 10 fixture.
“We’ve got a good side anyway, and the guys have been gelling well.”
Very well, in fact.
CYMS sit on top of the Group 10 premier league ladder with two wins from as many games and crucially, boast a game in hand, with the green and golds’ washed out clash with Lithgow Workies to be rescheduled.

However, Sullivan said his side won’t have any issues with complacency against a Panthers side brimming with confidence.
“They have been a bit (of a bogey side), hopefully we can put that to bed this weekend,” Sullivan said.
“I’m not thinking about (Panthers’) slow start, more about their win last weekend. I know Mudgee were understrength, but sometimes all you need is a win to kick start a season.
“They’ve got that now, and they’ll be keen to go back-to-back at home. If we have good go forward through our pack, and stop their pack’s momentum that will go a long way to winning us the game.”
CYMS face off with Panthers from 2.30pm.
