A P-PLATER caught driving a high performance Ford turbo has been convicted on a string of traffic offences after appearing in court.

Linc Frame, 23, of Loren Street in Eglinton, appeared before magistrate Michael Allen in Bathurst Local Court to answer charges of not comply with P1 and P2 vehicle restrictions, prolong or sustain the loss of traction and driving a motor vehicle while suspended.
The court heard that on January 14, police were patrolling the Eleven Mile Drive they saw a blue Ford, accelerating harshly, and losing traction.
After appearing in court, Frame was fined a total of $700 and disqualified from driving until April 27, 2016.
