TWO people have been arrested for threatening and robbing a 71-year-old Orange taxi driver on Saturday night, and a third person has been charged in relation to the robbery.

The elderly taxi driver was robbed at knifepoint after stepping out of his taxi for a meal break in Jindalee Avenue at 10.30pm.
He was approached by a man who allegedly threatened him with a knife demanding money.
It is alleged a woman then also approached the driver before the pair fled with his wallet and an amount of cash from the taxi.
Canobolas Local Area Command acting Inspector Mick White said detectives launched an investigation into the armed robbery, including reviewing footage from the taxi camera.
"At this stage I'm unsure if the knife was recovered," he said.
On Monday afternoon, detectives arrested a 17-year-old male at a house in Tumbeelluwa Place, Orange.
He was taken to Orange Police Station where he was charged with armed robbery and was refused bail to appear in a children's court yesterday.

About 9am yesterday, a 19-year-old Orange woman was arrested in Leumeah Road, Orange.
She was taken to Orange Police Station where she was charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon.
She was refused bail to appear at Orange Local Court on Wednesday, June 24.
