About 1.50am on Saturday, April 11 emergency services were called to a home on Heatherbrae Parade, following reports of shots fired.
Officers attached to Canobolas Local Area Command attended the home and established a crime scene.
Initial investigations allege that occupants of a maroon-coloured Ford Falcon sedan fired a number of shots at the home before fleeing.
Occupants were home at the time of the incident, however no one was injured.
Strike Force Woodglen was established by Canobolas Detectives to investigate the incident.
Following inquiries, about 12.20pm on Monday a 30-year-old man was arrested at a home on Bardia Place, Orange.
He was taken to Orange police station, where he was charged with shoot at with intent to murder, conceal serious indictable offence and two unrelated charges.
He has been refused bail to appear at Orange Local Court on Tuesday.
Two 20-year-old men and a 16-year-old male remain before the courts in relation to the matter.
